This B24D was transferred to the RAF and re-designated as a Liberator III carrying the British serial number FL968. Little is known of its service record but it was assigned to 111 OTU (Operational Training Unit) at Nassau, Bahamas, in October 1944 training RAF and RCAF aircrew in anti-submarine and reconnaissance duties for Coastal Command. It was ultimately scrapped in March 1947.
