This C47 served in New Guinea and Australia with the 22nd Troop Carrier Squadron. It was flown back, probably as a "War Weary", by Lt Austin Malcomb Jr in February 1945.

Lt Malcomb had flown a brand new C47 from the US with the 375th TCG that had been named at Hamilton Field as "Lookin for Trouble" but it was taken away from the crew upon their arrival in Australia and they were transferred into the 374th TCG.
