Assigned to 873rd Bomb Squadron, this Superfort did not arrived on Saipan until 8th May 1945. It survived the war and was salvaged at Kelly AFB in Texas in April 1954 but to date no combat sorties have been identified. Further information is sought as to its crew members and service record.
