This was one of 18 B-24 Liberators purchased with funds collected through the 4-H Clubs and was presented to the USAAC at the State Fair in September 1943. In all, the 4-H Clubs across America raised a total of $9,000,000 to eventually acquire thirty Liberators.

Further information is sought on the presentation ceremony/ceremonies associated with these aircraft and data on their serial numbers and subsequent active service record.
