Missing in action after colliding in mid-air with 42-24784 on 10th February 1945. Crashed at Takashima village, Gunma, Japan. Missing air crew report # 12018
121st NCB (Naval Construction Battalion) arrived on Tinian in late July 1944 and was assigned to the 30th CB Regiment, part of 6th CB Brigade, at the end of November. In July 1945 it was detached from 6th CB Brigade and sent to Saipan.
