Maj Donald Strait's Mustang carried the same name as his previous Thunderbolt "Jersey Jerk". It was this aircraft that he was flying when he scored two kills against Fw190s on 14th February 1945 during a fighter sweep ahead of the raid on Dresden. He had caught another Fw190 a month earlier and shot that down near Dummer Lake.
