This North American B25J was transferred later to 340th Bomb Group but the date is not known, nor how many missions it flew with 12th Bomb Group. Whilst flying with this latter unit's 489th Bomb Squadron "Prop Wash" was shot down on 26th February 1945. Anyone with information relating to this Mitchell, in either unit, its crews and missions is asked to make contact.
