Replacement Suoerfort after previously named B-29 "City of Hollywood" crashed on Guam on 14 May 45. Survived hostilities and was transferred to 98BG's 343 Bomb Squadron. 1Lt Leslie Brazelton crashed landed at Geiger Field, WA after losing an engine on 27 July 48. Presumed to have been repaired because it was not listed as being reclaimed (salvaged) until April 1954.
